Charles Henry Palmer was my grandfather. Please click on the link for the Palmer Family Tree on the Homepage. He was born in Collingbourne Kingston, Wiltshire. He was a cowman who moved from farm to farm in order to get work.

He was gassed during the First World War but lived until 1960 when he finally succumbed to the effects from the gassing.
